What is PRIML?

The Puerto Rico Interscholastic Math League (PRIML) is a non-profit organization developed in February 2015 and established in the metropolitan area. Its main objective is to contribute in the development of educational experiences for the students that compose it. The League is expected to grow gradually over the years and not be limited to the metropolitan area. The main focus of this Mathematics League is the student community at the secondary level.

Community

The community involved are the active members of the League, understand, as those schools that meet the entry requirements. Although the impact is targeted at high school students and math teachers, some of our member schools integrate elementary level competencies.

Directors

Its board of directors is made up of local teachers and professors: Nelson Cipirán, Carlos Torrech, Iván Cardona-Tomassini, Osmar Milanés, Edwin Flórez, Yamila Ramírez, Jorge Berríos.

Objective

The main objective of PRIML is the development of skills in the area of mathematics and promote in our young people the taste and appreciation of them.

Mission

The mission of the League is to provide students with different enrichment activities that contribute to the development of mathematical reasoning and skills in the area of mathematics.
